I hear the local Malay newspaper gave negative publicity to the gold investment scheme my parents partake in.
What I am going to say is probably biased because;
1) as much as I like my race, they can be annoyingly stupid, allowing themselves to be herded like sheep
2) I really don’t need anything to happen to my REALLY HAPPY parents right now.
Look, my folks have retired early thanks to their gold investments. They are cash rich and they don’t disturb me about anything anymore. They will even pay for my wedding. When my parents are happy, I am happy. So if people are trying to make them unhappy, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN UNTIL YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPY MEANS ANYMORE.
As for our local Malay newspaper? Always been silly to me. Berita Harian? Berita Hairan more like it. It’s probably running alongside that stupid The New Paper we have.
For the record, I don’t invest in gold. Silly? Maybe.
Perhaps, I really don’t want to prove that money makes the world go round. It’s very ugly.
